Sara Wallet

Sara Wallet is an open-source, local, self-custodial stablecoin wallet for small businesses: send and receive payments, invoice customers, run batch and recurring payments, and keep an auditable ledger.

Key features

Everything a small business needs from a stablecoin wallet.

Payments, invoicing and accounting in plain English, all running locally and all confirmed by you before anything is signed.

Natural-language payments

Send USDC, EURC, USDT or Open USD in plain English. Sara shows the token, network, recipient, exact amount and fee before you confirm and sign.

Swaps & bridges

Swap tokens or move them between networks, with the route, quote, fees and any approval shown before you sign.

Invoicing

USDC invoices on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, OP Mainnet and Polygon, with a QR code any wallet app can scan, automatic on-chain reconciliation and proof-of-payment receipts.

Business & accounting

Batch payments from a CSV, recurring payments, payroll and spending policies, with an auditable ledger, income and expense reports, and CSV and Excel exports.

Telegram alerts

Get a Telegram message when a wallet crosses a balance limit or an invoice is paid.

Directory handles

Save an address with a name and a unique handle, such as rohasnagpal, then pay the handle instead of pasting a long address. ENS names work too.

Standard recovery phrase

One 24-word BIP-39 recovery phrase backs every wallet Sara creates, using the standard Ethereum derivation path, so it also works in MetaMask and other wallets.

Security

Your keys never leave your machine.

The questions people actually ask before trusting a wallet with money.

Does the AI see my private key?

No. Keys are decrypted only in local signing code, never sent to the AI model. The AI layer has no code path that touches key material at all.

Who signs transactions?

Local Python code, using web3.py, not the AI. The model only decides which tool to call with which parameters; signing happens after you confirm.

What runs locally?

The frontend, backend, wallet database, chat history, key storage and signing. Everything except AI inference (or all of it, with a local Ollama model).

What leaves my machine?

Your chat messages go to the AI provider you configure, public blockchain nodes see the addresses you look up, and swap and bridge providers see your address when you use them. Never key material. No telemetry, no cloud sync.

Can the AI send money itself?

No. Every send needs your explicit CONFIRM and your passphrase.

How do I back up my wallets?

With a standard 24-word BIP-39 recovery phrase, shown once when you create your first wallet. It also works in MetaMask and other wallets. Your unlock passphrase has no recovery, so keep both safe.

Has Sara been audited?

Not yet. Sara is alpha software. See SECURITY.md for audit status and how to report a vulnerability privately.
